There are 6 people in our group from Vietnam traveling to Chile. We spent 4 days in Patagonia and 2 days for the national park Torres del Paine and the glaciers. Luckily, we received the best tour guide services from Diego and Thomas, who are very professional, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They prepared everything very thoughtfully, from the visit itinerary, informations about scenic spots, meals… In addition, we were also very impressed by their love and care for Patagonia - where they were born, raised and work. Although it is very difficult to travel from Vietnam to Chile, we still hope that one day we will have the opportunity to return here - a very beautiful land of creation.

Chilean Vistas is prompt, organized and knowledgeable. We asked for a transfer and hiking excursion from Puerto Natales to a hotel in Los Torres del Paine. Diego was our guide. Wished we had used Chilian Vistas for the entire trip. Amazing experience and would highly recommend.

Diego is one of the best guides we have had the pleasure of traveling and learning from. He is an expert on the region and all it has to offer. We traveled with teens and he was fantastic with his humor, encouragement and always ready with great music on the longer drives :). His passion and love for Patagonia were infectious!

Diego is an amazing guide! During our time with him in Torres del Paine he proved himself to be an excellent naturalist, storyteller and historian. He was funny and a great companion. And he always had chocolate at just the right time. During our travels he also turned out to be a Puma-whisperer. We had many sightings. I would recommend Diego and Chilean Vistas to anyone!

Traveling to Patagonia was without a doubt one of the best experiences our family has ever had—and a huge part of what made it so special was our guide, Diego. Diego is not only a brilliant steward of this magical land, he is an amazing listener, thoughtful guide and works tirelessly to cultivate an authentic and exciting experience based on each individual family’s needs/wants/desires. Diego was aware that we are avid hikers and that we relish novel hiking experiences. Based on the fact that we came in begging for adventure, he wasted no time taking us to his favorite untrodden spots within the Torres del Paine National Park, slowing building us up to a successful, invigorating full day trek starting at dawn to watch the sun rise over las Torres. In addition to our hikes, we encountered wildlife, dined with locals and witnessed the mind-blowingly precise and agile sheepherding at Estancias Patagonia. Diego is an excellent chef, provided dining experiences at every turn (including wine, beer and treats…even at the base of las Torres after 5 hours of hiking!!!). Our family highly HIGHLY recommends Diego and Chilean Vistas. We will always remember our trip and will consider Diego a friend.

Diego was a fantastic guide. He knows Patagonia like the back of his hand and beyond that he’s a really awesome dude. He’s the man!
